What i think respect is: I think respect is when you listen to some one who is talking and don't talk when they are.

The hardest thing for him to find was an example of his Dad's old school project.

He told us his best find was his mum and dad's High School Year Book.

I liked the pateren i used.It was difficult etching the design in becase you could of made a whole. I would change the second colour is.

Why do we wear school uniform?

Our school uniform is the clothes that we wear to school that you usually only wear to school and identifies you with a specific group,school.

Most of the schools in NewZealand have a school uniform.One of the main reasons why we wear school uniforms is because we have to because the teachers and principal make us that means its compulsory.

It is also because if we went on a school trip and you got lost a person would be able to find you and read your logo then they can take you back to your school or they might take you to your group.

It also might be because we look good together if we all have the same clothing on.When you have school photos and you all have different clothes on it would not look that good.

It also could be if another school came to your school you dont get mixed up with them.For example if a school came to your school and we didnt have uniforms someeone might stay at your shool from the other school or you go to there school.

So thats why we wear school uniforms.I hope you dont argue with your teacher about wearing it anymore but i still wonder why there is muffti schools?

How to be a good visitor to the Halswell Quarry

The Halswell Quarry is a place where you come and visit,but you have to look after the quarry.

Firstly the quarry has five different gardens from different countries. You are allowed to walk around looking but it would be very bad if you littered the quarry gardens.

Another good way to treat the quarry is to obey the rules. one rule is that you have to have your dog on a leach if your not in the dog exercise area.

My next thing to tell you is that there are no rubbish bins in the quarry so please please keep you rubbish in your pocket,bag or lunch box.

While you're looking around the gardens please do not pull the leaves of the plants. Also don`t step on the little trees and shrubs because it could kill them!

So i hope you treat the park with respect and i think this park is great and hope you think so too.

Camp recount

Clicety-clack clicety-clack went the train as Rm 6 set off on our journey.  In the morning,we were going over the massive bridge.  When I looked down, it looked like I was not on the Earth and then it disappeared into pitch black.  It was a tunnel! We rushed to the observation deck, sprinting through the carriages and racing past people. As the train rocked us side to side.When we got there we had missed the tunel but there was the great site of the green mountains and the blue sky with white fluffy clouds. I felt so excited to be on a train for the first time.

Print making

Today at school we talked about print making. We are doing Relief print making. We saw a youtube video about some artists doing relief print making on wood. First he carved out the bits that was not in his picture then he rolled ink over his picture then put a sheet of paper over it then three more. He pushed down on it, then pulled the paper off and on it was a mirror image of his picture. I thought it looked really cool and was really coool I liked it.
